In addition to being the creative mind behind the Flip
Flop Shops® concept, as the Buyer, Ms. Towne is responsible
for the task of studying current fashion and market trends
in order to effectively handle the product buying decisions
for the stores.
Prior to co-founding Flip Flop Shops®, Towne
worked as a retail consultant for The Gates Group,
where she was able to work on all aspects of the development
and planning stages of creating retail businesses. Towne has
also worked in sales at several major mall-based retail chains.
Towne is a 2002 graduate of Boston College with a B.A. in Communication, cum laude.
