Prior to co-founding Flip Flop Shops®,
Todd was President and CEO of The Gates Group,
a leading retail recruiting and consulting company he founded
in 1996 that is still in existence today. The Gates
Group specializes in connecting retail managers,
assistant managers, and corporate staff with new positions
at some of the most sought-after retail companies across the
country. The Gates Group
provides consulting services to individuals wishing to start
their own retail businesses, as well as those interested in
purchasing a franchise.
Giatrelis has developed and successfully sold several retail
businesses, including Reliable Dry Cleaners and Tuxedo
and Pasta Unlimited, a quick-serve pasta
restaurant that was one of the first of its kind.
Giatrelis attended Suffolk University in Boston, MA and was a former member the
board of trustees for Regis College.
